Its dense construction helps minimise movement beneath the floor while delivering reliable impact sound reduction of up to 23 dB, making it particularly suitable for residential properties and upper floors. The underlay also provides added thermal comfort and helps protect the integrity of the engineered wood by offering strong compression resistance and excellent recovery under load.

Manufactured to recognised British and international testing standards, this professional-grade underlay is crack-resistant, hygienically treated to help resist bacterial growth, and engineered for consistent performance over time.

This underlay offers limited resistance to moisture vapour due to the natural properties of rubber. It is not a moisture barrier. Where required—particularly over concrete subfloors—a suitable damp-proof membrane should be installed separately.
